To me, single means never married... divorced, is obviously, divorced... just my thoughts at 2.30am when I should be sleeping...

If you are divorced then you get to choose to select single or divorced... depending on how you feel about it at the time. If you are single and have never been divorced then your stuck without a choice! Yep. Glass half empty or glass half full.... take your pick sexy bum! Hugs Stalky

I consider myself as single. Technically still separated. It's been 8 years now separated. So I choose the single option. I no longer have young kids so I am footloose and fancy free. For me to choose searated option means that I've still got issues but I don't. Lol. Fab

Ok, so you're searching through profiles looking for a single man or woman. You find one that looks good but read on and find their wife/ husband will accompany them on dates. Isn't that technically a "couple" profile then? Any one else found this? C xxx

You don't need a certificate to declare yourself single. You do however need to part with over $500 and have the sanction of a court to declare yourself divorced. Single, separated, widowed, divorced..... all point to availability of the individual. I think the question sometimes arises....Does it matter to some the actual status by law? I think it matters to those who are finnicky, intrinsic or doubtful types. If you're into each-other then who needs details or a sheet of A4 to slide between you both as a barrier..... you can work out the details later if things get 'signicant'.

Is`anybody really anybody they claim to be here? Probably, rather likely they are with maybe a few having non-disclosure issues for reasons known best to them. I don't really notice or expect the whole truth. These forums make people "more real" for me. Joe Lunchbox also known as Barry Briefcase sometimes hangs as a cpl with Prudence parsley and Curious Carrot often joins the fun. Have to be a vegetarian though. Blah Blah....
