Addiction (prescription meds)

Being that the rhp community covers a wide spectrum of ages, life experiences and injuries I thought I might ask the question, "do you know anyone who has been or is addicted to prescription meds" now this may seem an odd question but I recently had surgery on my stomach again and they're pumping me full of god knows what and I'm a bit worried that the accessibility/availability might get the better of me as I have something of an addictive personality, so I've been told and I want to minimize my risk levels as much as possible I guess.
