Acting Out Of Character

Have you ever done anything which was totally out of character for you? What did you do and why did you do it? I own a B & S style ute, which I'm very proud of. I occasionally enter it in local competitions and have a few trophies and ribbons from winning a few categories. On Saturday, I entered it in a ute comp in a rural small town show. I got to meet the previous owner of my ute, who is the person who modified my ute before I bought it, which added the character to it which it now has. Now, this guy is a bit of a legend to me, so when I was introduced to him, I greeted him with a big hug and thanked him. When I looked up into this young man's shocked face (he's about half my age) I announced to him "I LOVE MY UTE!!!". Yep.....he must have thought I was pretty damn special. Now, I don't go around hugging people unless I know them very well and feel very comfortable with them. And, just for the record, my ute came first place in two categories and second place in one category That's my ute!

Married my first husband..in a tacky bar/chapel in Vegas.....after knowing him for a whole 3 weeks !!!!.......so cliche, so young and sooooooooooooo not me !!!....why did I do it.?..I was in lust and a lot of bourbon was involved.... 25 years later Moved countries ...like 24000 kms ... to the remotest city on the planet ........on a whim...why did I do it.?..this time I was in love...he married someone else last weekend....so as you can see...my whimsical moments are so not working out for me!!!!! When Im spontaneous...I do it Big !!!

... since slapping my face or "waking up" back in January, I seem to have done a few things that is so not me. Ie: - joined rhp (was very conservative - that my friends still cant believe it, I still can't believe it myself sometimes), did it because I was horny and have had enough of enjoying myself, thought I should share :) - I run everyday now (prior to this, my idea of exercise is if I thought it therefore i have - mind over matter thing :) ), don't ask my why, as i don't know either :) - have goals or things that I want to do and experience, because I have realised that I don't want to wake up when Im old and think back to myself that I haven't done some things

Slept with a married woman whenever her husband was away on work (every second week). Not something I usually do, especially when the married woman and her husband lived next door. :)

Moving to Oz from Europe a decade ago, not knowing anyone here. Pretty out of character for someone not even brave enough to change her hair colour.

I recently played a game of cat and mouse with a guy in a very nice green SS Flirted at the traffic lights smiled and waved everytime a i passed him we did this for 150kms Coincidently we were heading to the same town I jumped out of my car walked over and gave him my number and said "Call Me" when he called me 30 minutes later i asked what took him so long. His answer ....i had to call my mate and say "you're never going to believe what just happened to me"

i first joined up a couple of years ago, im a very shy person so joining up to a ite like this was way outa characer for me, still not brave enought o atened any parties just yet but im sure one day ill break my character mould again and get out there

I think the most out of character thing I ever did was learn to listen to other people..Cheeky of me ~smiles~There are possibly other things too.. Like my first RHP meet..

Was at a local club having a FEW rums......... Local coppers came in and did the round of looking over the place..... Went up to one of them and asked if he had a pen. He asked why? So I could give u y number............... VERY VERY out of character. He wrote my number down in his little book!
