i hate the "ask me" answer...expecialy with the relationship question....its easy.... your in a relationship or your not, nothing hard there but the ones that make me laugh are the eyes and hair colour and such...why cant you answer that??? i definately agree if you cant answer the simple questions then your hiding something roxxy

I HaveAsk Me On my profile For Two Things On My profile.....And I woulnt Consider The Answer I provide when asked About Them As Negative...The Race tab Does Not Have My answer to that question as i am Of Mixed race...Nor does it have My choice for Eye colour....which changes depending on MoodSo should i have ticked Other which Prompts people to ASK Me.....or just tick Ask Me... as i have Done.........

I have ask me for smoking as I smoke some days and not others and the not others can go for a few days, weeks or months, so rather than having to remember to update my profile each time I stop and start, I just say ask me. I do agree the relationship one is one where if the person answers ask me, I assume they are which means, I'm not going to look any further, though one time a guy had ask me about most things and I met him and he was a honey and no, he wasn't in a relationship. Why do people put "ASK ME" to some of the profile status questions? If you list "ask me" we take it as the true answer is going to be a negative. For example..if you put "ask Me' to the smoking question..it obviously means you are a smoker cos a non smoker would not hesitate to say it. It takes no time to fill out the stats fully.... people who say ASK ME must have something to hide or are hoping they can explain it away with something like.."Oh but I only smoke a little bit..or I won't smoke around you.." etc etc. Just be upfront. Just my opinion... other thoughts on this So What does ask me beside sexuality mean? Fat and Ugly or they smoke? ....we wont consider a profile thats not fillled out ...simple no implications we just move on ....cant be bothered with games Thats our thoughts

'Ask me' drives me crackers!! i don't want to have to ask, that is the whole function of the profile in the first place to put the basic info in so that people can make some sort of a judgment as to whether or not you are likely to be a match.One thing that hubby has found with his profile is that female profiles that have lots of 'ask me' and no pics that flirt or message him are more often than not scammers that want to take you to another site to 'cam' with them or want to give you their 'number' which charges by the min I personally wont respond to a profile that has no pics and lots of 'ask me' answers or if i do it is always a 'no thanks' kind of response.I just don't get it, oh and great topic guys

Sorry but the smoking one is easy...either yes or no. If you smoke, whether it's everyday or once every six months that's still smoking...well, to a non smoker it is. Light smoker, regular smoker, occasional smoker or whatever...there is no difference.

I clearly state **NO SMOKERS PLEASE*** not that that stops them i thought the other day that i would consider a guy that was listed as 'light smoker' but during chat when asked what he called light smoker he answered 10-15 a day!! sorry i consider that regular smoker.to be clear i am an ex smoker myself so it is not that i am being judgmental it is just that it leaves a smell/taste that i am not keen on, you are right there really is no need to put 'ask me' in the smoking category at least they give you enough options, but this does lead me to wonder what people consider the difference between 'light', 'regular' and 'heavy' but i guess that is the same with appearance, body shape, size etc lol one person's 'attractive is another's What the?? lolI guess the message is pretty clear though seems most people move on from profiles that are not completed and have lots of 'ask me'

When I see someone has "ask me" as their answer my mind starts to wander.. If its in the smoking bit, then I wonder if they mean that they are a non smoker of the cigarettes... but choose to smoke the illegal kind... ??? When it comes to relationships... and it says "ask me"... well again.... there are plenty of options to choose from. Its really not that hard to find one that discribes your status. Just write down the same answer you would for the tax man and you will be fine. :) To me a person who has ticked "ask me" to everything on their profile isn't a real contender anyway... they are just in a hurry to join ...just to look at all the pretty pictures! :) -Maple-

For me, if a profile has a lot of "Ask Me"'s, then I usually don't... I just pass on by...

If ask me was on everything - what was that profile......yeh next! If it is on one or a few.........perhaps the answer is not one of the presets If the answer should be yes or no......it should be yes or no! Perhaps they are using it as a ploy to get other peeps to chat, to ask for more detail Yes a two edged sword! Anyway, don't get your knickers in a knot about it, move on if you don't like it Better still get em off and have some fun....... Cheers Lets PS Can't remember if I have any ask me's....better go check
