Let's go to the Disco!
This is a special event for our Hx guests, all those cool cats in the 30 – 50 age group, with a few exceptions either side.
Once scorned as a "diabolical thump-and-shriek" by Time magazine, Disco faced criticism for its emphasis on personal appearance and rejection of societal norms—an ethos that resonates very well with us. Embraced by the gay community, it flourished in underground clubs before captivating mainstream culture with its flamboyance and defiance.
Disco wasn't just music; it was a declaration of pride and liberation. In the '70s, it beckoned us to cast aside inhibitions and lose ourselves in the euphoria of the dance floor, a call to go wild and party and dance and with the chance to play, with no thought or conscience or regard for tomorrow.
Our lavish venue sets the stage for an unforgettable experience, with plush seating areas beckoning you to relax and mingle with like-minded souls, the night is yours to relish, whether you're exploring new connections or reveling in the company of a familiar flame..
Tonight, we pay homage to those legendary nights, celebrating all things glittery.
Come to Dance: We will be bringing in club-level audio & lighting to set the mood for the dance floor, with an all star west coast line up of big names from the decades past setting the soundtrack. .
Come to play: If you find yourself wanting a more playful party experience with 3 playrooms & a dungeon to explore, you will be spoilt for choice.
Cloakroom: Staffed all night.
What to wear: Disco is all about excess and confidence; dress up, dress down, wear something bright or tight, or go all out with sparkle. Check the pinterist board here for some inspo.
Drinks | BYO: This is a BYO venue, so you're not paying for overpriced drinks all night. Bring your drinks to the bar, we will keep them cold and safe while our gorgeous staff serve them back to you. As always we provide, ice, cups and mixers.
Please remember: we remain a Liquor Regulated space even if BYO, We promote responsible drinking and good times.
