When you consider the most alluring adult events, there’s always an air of mystery, and so it is with one of Australia's most provocative gatherings – The Manor House Club. Come October 26, Melbourne's Mon Bijou will host the next chapter of The Manor House Club – an event that promises dirty delights and sophisticated sensation! We chatted with founder of The Manor House Club, Cassandra French to find out exactly what her carnal creation is all about. 

(RedHotPie) The Manor House Club is a transient, mysterious collective… tell us how it came to be. 

(Cassandra French) The Manor House Club came about after a book was released by Jayne C. We loved the idea and concept behind “The Manor House” we thought it would be awesome to have something like that here in Australia.

You have a very distinct style that adds to the mystique, how was that style conceived? 

Again it all came from the book, Jayne C describes the event at the Manor House with detail eluding to and yes in the book the main character does discover – yet we feel this is a journey new and seasoned members of the club can enjoy together.

Your events are not your average lifestyle parties, describe a Manor House Club event. 

Depending on who you're talking to, there are so many ways to hint at what it is. That’s the magic - hinting instead of spelling it all out in black and white. We leave you little clues to find and see what MHC means to you.

What sort of venues do your source for your events? 

For this event we wanted penthouse, sophistication, the allure of being private guests invited to the penthouse for drinks and canapes, yet being asked to conceal who you are, adding to the mystic. We do have a different event where we are in a house and the rooms hold wonderful surprises for all (insert wink).

You have quite a cross-section in attendance, tell us a little bit about the people that attend your events.

We like to encourage everyone, from people who are just looking at the pool and viewing in wonder the scene before them. We have people who have wet their toes yet still can’t make up their mind to take the plunge, while others are more than willing to not only dive into the deep end, they go topless too.

What sights and sounds will people experience at a Manor House Club event?

What I see and hear may be different – candles, music, décor, other guests, the unfolding of the event taking everyone along for the ride... Remember it is a formal black tie Masquerade with Ladies having the choice of evening wear or Lingerie. To experience is to know.
