Instead men should try simpler methods such as putting on clean sheets, or telling women they've lost some weight.
As obvious as it may sound, those little tricks, along with winning money, are sure fire ways to get women's hearts racing.
A survey of more than 2000 Brits has revealed what really turns the ladies on when it comes to sex. And sorry boys, lingerie doesn't even make the list.
The findings, released by entertainment giant Mecca, found slimming, winning cash and clean bed sheets were the biggest turn-ons for women, the Daily Mail reports.
But in bad news for the ladies, your man is more likely to be turned on after a night out with the boys with almost a third, 28 per cent, admitting they hoped to get lucky after being with their mates.
Mecca also found 60 per cent of women were turned on by winning some form of money while 52 per cent of men would send their partners off to play bingo if it meant they would come home and give them sex.
Men were also turned on by cleaning the house and were more aroused after their sporting team won, the survey found.

'Men were also turned on by cleaning the house' as in men clean the house and get turned on? Can't say that scrubbing the bathroom tiles excites me, though certainly I think a clean house, clean sheets does stimulate ... it's great to be dirty when everything is clean.
