Having a relatively normal life here in Perth compared to the rest of the world right now. Having a job, fabulous girlfriends who know how to have fun and are the most kindhearted ladies. Being able to have quality time with my son as we are both busy. Just walking down the road on a sunny morning listening to the birds and seeing riots of colour in the gardens in my street will make me smile. I love my life and appreciate what Ive been given. Great post, thank you

Awesome post. I'm grateful for the people in my life, for my past self for saving an emergency fund, and that Perth has been so lucky this year. It's been a totally messed up year in so many ways, but it's brought me closer to the people that matter most so I'm grateful for that.

Excellent post !
I try to be the glass half full person . Life definitely throws myself and everyone many curve balls but I have much to be grateful for .
I am grateful to have met someone that makes my everyday amazing , peaceful , exciting and fun . To be with someone that allows me to just be me without judgement.
I am grateful to be employed in a job that allows me to be social , help others and is never dull.
I am grateful for my amazing family that fill my everyday with laughter . I am grateful to FaceTime and zoom that kept my family close in these uncertain times .
I am ( strangely enough ) grateful for my turbulent , difficult past that allowed me to grow , become stronger and enabled me to be where I am today .
I have many , many more blessings , amazing friends , a roof over our head , easily accessible wonderful foods and wine ....and I agree with the others my dressing gown .

I have learnt that as one door closes another one opens, and no matter how far down you may feel you are there is always something better around the corner. Sometimes a storm isnt there to destroy but can be there to clear the way

Over the last few weeks I've been extremely grateful for the beautiful women and friends I've met on here who have helped my family and l through one of the hardest times in our lives.
No one should have to had to witness what my family and l did a couple of months ago and my RHP family came running to help us.
Even those that couldn't run because of border restrictions lol
You my beautiful friend, l love you to the moon and back.
And all my other gorgeous girlfriends l would have been lost with out you ❤EarthQueen

I am so very grateful for my 6 year old son. Took my wife and I several attempts at unsuccessful IVF sessions with no luck in Sydney and $90k bills and sold our house to pay for them. We came back home to Brisbane and water up here helped a natural birth. He started off with a few struggles, had surgery on his second day of life to turn his insides back the correct way, and then it was discovered that he had a soft cleft pallet. He has had 3 sets of grommets in his ears to help have liquid build up behind his eardrum. He also had a rough time with his early development diagnosed with a global delay and has been having a steady stream of speech therapy and physio sessions. Just last week we found out he has a confirmed hearing problem and will require a listening device for the rest of his life. His future will be more surgery and lots of dental procedures.
I think back and look at what a fantastic bright happy and cheerful kid he is with lots of supporting friends and family. Not a day goes past that he doesn’t make me laugh or put a smile on my face. I feel so proud of him and everyday we have such great son and dad chats. He is my whole world and if it was not for him I would have been a miserable old fart. But he keeps me young and I am so very grateful and proud to call him my son.OzRednecks

This year has been very rough for us. Losing my job because of pandemic, losing a family member and people we thought were very close friends abandoning us when we were at our lowest has been heartbreaking. But after all that, seeing our dogs do their happy dance & wag their tails whenever they see us, whether it was an hour ago or a minute ago is without a doubt, what I am thankful for. Cant put a price on that. We are blessed, Mrs Oz❤️🐾

Solid friendships, lasting love and living in the lucky country during a global pandemic. Also super thankful for science, fast internet (the more G's the better), Trump being voted out and vaccinations.

I'm thankful for medical science and intelligent Medical professionals that know their shit! My daughter has been extremely unwell in hospital since she arrived here. For days, no one could visit her. Without Medical science and testing there's no way in hell Drs would have puck up her diagnosis. It's slimmed her chances of IVF (4yrs she's been trying) and that's put on holt. She's such a little tiny thing, has lost so much weight, looks so gaunt and her immune system is shithouse!
Today, I'm thankful she's even alive! I'm blessed.
