Profiles with not sure in sexual orientation

March 15 2020

I wish guys would not put “not sure” in their sexual orientation box and then be highly offended when you ask what they are looking for!!!!! It’s annoying!

It's easy to think you've set your orientation then back out of that page without saving it. People rarely go back and look at their own profile. I think if someone has their orientation down as not sure it might be wise to ask them what they mean by not sure. If they know they're projecting that you'll get their answer if they've mistakenly checked that box you'll likely get a thankyou rather than someone be offended.

"Not sure" is the default setting when you create a profile it just means they're lazy and haven't changed it or filled out their profile properly

As an aside...... who else cant stand the “what are you looking for” question?!

Im told every second guy asks that question.... and it must get tiresome, when what yiure liokibg for is (or should be!!) what the purpose of a profile is for

Yep, our observation is that it's just the default and they haven't bothered to fill it in. We've had a number of couples fire back with the "we're not into bi guys" in response to very respectful inquiring messages. It's definitely a pet peeve here, just fill your profile out and everyone's life is easier!

On another note, we aren't only looking for bi guys in couples, but that question opens a whole other can of worms on here.

The other reasons for putting "not sure" down that I can think of... maybe they really aren't sure and are still testing the waters, or are afraid of a lack of interest if they put their hands up as bi. We were warned early on that we should put down straight on here, but have had bi down from day one. Yes, it may limit those interested, but at least we're finding the people we're after... whether they be bi or straight, but comfortable enough to know that we can all respect each other's limits.

By the way, we completely respect everyone's preferences, but some attitudes still baffle!

Hello spunkyboy (s) and girls 😍

I dont mind so much if they dont know or aren't sure, for real.

But I do mind if people snap at others for asking the question!

Its easier and more pleasant to just be polite, interested or not imho

What if they like myself are unsure exactly I’ve always thought I was straight but I’m now curious and want to explore with the right person but don’t want it to be expected

it must be very difficult for guys to fill in the profile when they are typing with only one hand
