Your likes, preferences etc. Not broken, but maybe not what other people are looking for. Im a vegetarian non smoker so that puts a few people off me. The best way to meet people is to go to one of the RHP meet ups. If I hadnt done that one night a few years ago I may still have been sitting in on my own sifting through profiles Good luck

I'm going to make a few points here:
1. As is stated ad nauseum on the forum, single men by far outnumber single women on here. So you're up against it from the start. That also makes my #2 point even more important.
2. Whether you think it's fair or not, the online medium is one where initial visual impressions are going to be quite important for most people. It's just not the same as meeting people in 'real life' where you have other cues to go on. Photos in dirty work gear, and in which you look like you've just woken up from a nap on the couch at home, aren't putting you across in the best light. Contrary to what a lot of guys think you don't need to have ripped abs and model looks to have some success here, but you will usually find that the men who are successful will generally have put a bit of thought and effort into having some decent photos.
3. You're a smoker, and again regardless of whether you think it's fair or not, that significantly reduces the pool of potentials in an already small group.
On the plus side your bio isn't bad - at least you're giving people an idea of who you are, and it's not just the usual crap you see on guys' profiles about being laid back, wanting fun fun fun, and how you've been told you give an amazing massage / can lick pussy for hours / are a squirt master. Some of your interests are a bit niche and there's nothing wrong with that at all, however again you need to realise that will reduce your pool of potential matches particularly on a site like this.
Yes the online world can definitely be shallow, but on the other hand you can't always put the blame solely on that. You need to put a bit of effort in as well, and if you're not willing to do that then you're probably best off sticking to meeting people in the more traditional ways.

You're a good looking bloke - I bet your smile lights up your face! Let your potential matches see and fall for that. Also, for such a deep and obviously intelligent specimen, your attention to detail doesn't support that assertion. Fix the spelling and grammatical errors so that you don't cause those with a touch of OCD to twitch while they're reading your profile.
Personally, I'd like to read more about that depth you allude to. It's easy enough to say that's who you are - show us! All in all though, definitely not the worst profile here.
Because of the amount of competition here, guys really can't just sit back and expect the girls to come knocking. Send messages. Lots of them. You'll get a LOT of silence punctuated with an occasional, "thanks, but no thanks", but then once in a while you'll catch someone's eye. This site works AMAZINGLY WELL for me - better than others I've used by far. I'm actually at the point where I need to keep a diary so that I don't get details confused. If I can do it, you should be able to get twice the action! Hook in son! ;)RHP User

Thanks to all the replies. This has helped a lot with my outlook and potential use for this site and made me realise I may be looking at this the wrong way. Deffinatly going to have another look at my profile and maybe take some better photos.
