Rate the area:Toowoomba vs Uki

July 14 2022

I know this is a very random topic but we are moving from near Sydney to either Uki or Toowoomba as our forever home. Both very different I know, our question is what are the pro and con for each area - in terms of lifestyle ( bisexual swingers) , friendly and accepting community , general Liveability and fun sexy things to do in a weekend ( other than drive to Brisbane or Gold Coast) . Btw in both towns there are lovely profiles of people on RHP-

What's Uki? I can't say I'd ever base a relocation decision on "lifestyle opportunities" lol. Good luck with it 🙂

Pro: Toowoomba is in Qld so there’s nothing else you need to know. Best state in Australia!

Con: it gets fucking cold 🥶

Love Uki 😊, but keep your blinds closed as is a very small community! 😉
It’s an excellent place, and Murbah too (prior to floods of course), but not sure about any “scene” there.
However, keep in mind Byron is quite close and has plenty of naughty liberated people (particularly for couples).
    Good luck with your relocation!

    Thats an easy one
UKI - close to Byron and their very accepting liberal lifestyle
Toowoomba - Outback of Brisbane is a beautiful town, as long as you are straight as fuck. The only Bi action you will get there is BI Polar - they got that in spades. In terms of a progressive mindset, Brisbane is 20 years behind the rest of the country - Toowoomba is another 40 yrs behind brisbane.

Oh be never been to Uki but always seem to find it on the map when I’m map-surfing l. There’s something about it that has me intrigued to visit but alas I think it’s likely I’ve missed the boat in discovering a hidden gem!
Will make it there one day though :)

I lived in uki for 5 yrs and lived in Murwillumbah for around 10 yrs
    Its a small village
    From Sydney to uki?
Thats a huge change in lifestyle
    Hope you're prepared for it?
For work ull have to drive to tweed coast or GC
For swingers entertainment ull either have to make friends with the local hippies ( lots of free love ) lol
    Or drive to GC
It is a really beautiful part of the country. Loved it there

If the secondary reason to supplement your move (the first being work) is a swingers lifestyle, you’ll have to commute for both locations. If you want country with a touch of rainforest and you don’t need it all at your fingertips, then Uki, hands down. If you want some amenity, then T’bar is the way to go.

I could go without the threat of droughts, bushfires, mad heat and crazy that seems synonymous with T’bar. I’d kick it in Uki any day. It’s stunning out there.
