Blocking

July 13 2021

Hi, this is a question for both male and female. How many of you view a profile, then block that person so he/she can't see your profile or message you?

I've noticed it a lot lately. Is this a thing on here?

Yep, all the time! Generally because of the profile content though. Anything homophobic or racist is an automatic block! Guys that are obviously cheating we’ll block. We know others on here that block anyone that doesn’t match, people from interstate etc…. Wouldn’t waste any energy worrying about it though🤷🏻‍♂️

@SpicyKale Oh, should add that we know couples that block any single guy that looks at their profile… well, because they aren’t looking for single guys. Blocking when you know you’re not a match saves the sometimes awkward, sometimes abusive, sometimes begging messages we all get

Yep it’s a trend , you wouldn’t want anyone that does not fit in your search criteria to poppin up every now and then esp on your views. So you block if that annoys you like me period. Imagine you are searching for females and males viewing your profile 24/7 😂if you drop in my views and you are dude you going to be blocked😎

I only block people who delete messages, that’s so they don’t waste both of our time and try again later, it was happening a bit so I started blocking. Other than that I only block really offensive or annoying people, I’m fine with the rest sitting there in my inbox as a constant reminder that we didn’t click, lol.

The good old “BLOCK” is as commonplace on here as the cherished and much anticipated “hey babe, u want to fuck? message (and when one thinks about it, in many cases one often proceeds the other!).
While there are indeed very good reasons for utilising this most effective tool, many others may not actually be personal, and are simply time management related.
In any event, its just a fact of life... just like:

    Lego Building BLOCK
    Mental BLOCK
    350 Chevy Engine BLOCK
    Jenny from the BLOCK
    Volleyball Jump BLOCK
And of course, the much feared Toilet BLOCK.

I’m sure there are others, but I’ve now got Writer’s BLOCK and can’t continue....

Yes I used to. Don't bother now because there's nothing to see 😁

I believe that blocking is a last resort for when you get single guys who continue to perv just for the pics and never leave a message or simply take it upon themselves to leave a message , when clearly some profiles state “No single guys”.

I blocked men who sent me their dick pics without asking first as well as pushy people and no conversation yet but keep asking to see the photos, narcissists!!! They are so annoying!!! So, thanks to block button!

Unless there's a legitimate reason then no..

We block people who are rude, waste our time or repeatedly send friend requests when we've never met them, not just because they have different likes. Hey, everyone is different and we're supposed to be open minded in the lifestyle, right?

@amorous365 Ohhh so they have stated to you they have a diagnoses as narcissistic personality disorder and shown you proof?
    🤔🤔🤔

I never block those that view. Only if there is unwanted messaging.
After all, my pics/profile was put up with the knowledge that people will look. Derrr....
One should take the flattery that they want to look. I'd be rather concerned if no one did.
Call it an ego boost....heavens knows we should value it and use it to look after our mental health. It's free.
Being precious can cost us inside

I’m curious to know why blocking by people you’ve never met upsets some? On another forum we’re on, threads about blocking have ended up in threats of violence. The people blocking you are complete strangers, our advice is don’t get so invested in randoms on the net. They’re doing you a favour by saving you spending credits/money on messaging people that have no interest in you. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I block every profile that messages and I have no interest in chatting or meeting. Saves them and me a lot of time.
