How to host a Drinks Nights

Host your own Drinks Night
  1. What guests do you wish to invite?

    • Think carefully about the types of people you wish to invite, this is very important to decide before proceeding any further.
    • Age, body type and gender are the most common questions to contemplate when deciding which guests will be most compatible with you and your other guests.
  2. Chose your location wisely

    • Know your guests and understand the types of venues they might like to attend.
    • Think about transport and parking for your guests, is your venue suitable?
    • Research your venue and make sure that your meeting point inside the venue is easily accessible and provides enough area for your guests to mingle together.
    • At a more advanced level and after hosting several drinks nights you may wish to reserve a private area in which your guests can come to.
  3. Post your Party on RedHotPie

    • Log into your RedHotPie member profile - Click the events tab on the top right hand side of the homepage.
    • On the events page, click the button "add an event" which is located above the events search box on the top right hand side of the page.
    • Now follow the simple steps to posting your member party.
    • Be detailed in your party explanation and include such things as; date, time, venue, type of event your hosting, parking, who to contact on the night and where in the venue to meet up at, and if your event includes an after-party.
  4. Promote your Party

    • Contact [email protected] and ask for their help in promoting and featuring your event, RHP has a very friendly, experienced and helpful events team and we get very excited about promoting member parties.
    • Tell all your friends about your party, they can help to make your party a success.
    • Be organized - create template messages to send out to people for each step of the way to notify people. Invitation message first then followed by a "party details" message closer to the party date. Any enquiries in between will most likely be specific answers to questions.
    • Search member profiles and send out messages telling people about your party.
    • Look at other parties in your state and see which members have registered their interest for these events. Typically they are the party people and might be most interested.
    • Use the RHP chat rooms to make friends and spread the word about your party, RHP chat is full of members who like to attend member parties.
    • Be reliable and respond efficiently to all messages you receive, even if they can't attend or are not suitable, you never know what bridge you might be burning.
    • Send your final party details early - typically about 5-6 days before is ideal, any less will most likely mean a lot of your guests will not actually receive the party details. You must allow enough time for people to log into RHP and read your message.
  5. On the night of your Party

    • It is essential that you have a mobile phone for people to contact you on, some people will be nervous or others might like to know where you are located.
    • Be early, never leave your guests standing around waiting, most people will turn around and leave.
    • Be an amazing host, be as friendly as possible and introduce your guests to one another. Your attitude will ultimately decide how enjoyable your party becomes.
    • Be prepared and organized, follow the above steps carefully and things will flow very smoothly on the night, you are now hosting the sexiest and most enjoyable drinks night ever!
