QUEENSLAND MEET & GREET BRISSY CITY MARCH 7, 2015

The bar is a friendly, popular meeting spot and for the purpose of our meet and greet we have an EXCLUSIVE function room adjacent to the Rooftop Garden with our own bar, dance floor and easy access to the downstairs restaurant should you like to partake of the menu or try some of the house canapes’. We have one of the best Inner City views for those city slickers and country bumpkins among us at this popular party venue.
Instead of putting on nibblies I opted to book a band for our entertainment instead and we have our function room exclusively from 6.30pm until 11pm.
Introducing incognito “PARASOUL”a Brisbane based band who have been tearing down the house with their mix of Bombastic rhythms, Searing guitars, Sexy horns and Anthemic party lyrics. My favourite city band specialising in live funky music at venues such as the Press Club and prestigious mega club Cloudlands. So no doubt they’ll get your feet tapping wearing out the dance floor and your vocal cords.
Come and meet some of the crew you’ve been laughing with on the forums, chatting to in the chatrooms/online or just discretely admiring from a distance (not in a stalker way either!!) and enjoy a light hearted night among potential friends. Use the night as a first date opportunity, get a babysitter for the kids and step on out in a social, non-threatening, party atmosphere among some awesome people.
The girls can pull out that sexy little dress for the night and the boys can bust out those dancing moves.The venue becomes a pretty great outdoor nightclub and a DJ will also be playing into the wee hours of the morning.
All are welcome as these meets can be fun for you, your friends, or “special friends” that aren’t on these sites and are a great way to find a relaxed, like-minded, sexy group of people you may otherwise have missed out on.
This is a private event organised by myself with the help of a few other crazy friends who support me independent of any clubs/pubs/establishments. Like the Perth, Sydney and Melbourne events we're just members like you so to keep numbers for the venue sorted please ensure you register on the events page at:

We have a couple of door prizes on offer. If you have friends who are curious about the site and are not members there is a special Membership prize for them so they can explore the site for themselves and see why we’re all here courtesy of RHP. The other prize everyone gets a ticket in once I find someone to donate something (BIG SMILE) looking hopeful. Anyone interested in contributing will get a plug by the band, that's not a BUTT PLUG either by the way.

Well we were keen when thought it was on the Goldie, now you go and put it 2k's from our door, how could we not go. Live band, rooftop view, sexy people...... Recipe for a great night. Hmmm shame we don't have a 10 person spa for an after party. Lol. I wonder how many people we could get in a 4 person spa. Can't wait to catch up with some friends again.

There have been a few PM me saying $10/pp is fair. Meeka you guys are up for flights etc so I feel odd about having a cover charge. What if we made it optional like jacuzzitime suggested to me? I'm the one who wanted a band and I got the band I wanted and they cost me $2350. IF we get 100 people at $10/head then that's great as far as I'm concerned. It just makes it a bit more sensible for me lol. The venue will be offering the complimentary beer, wine, house cocktail between 7-8pm for our guests. The band will kick off 8.30/9pm. We have them for 3 x 45min sets and they are well worth the effort! To those who've PM'd me or offered to contribute I say a huge Thank You! To the locals like graceinlace, jaccuzzitime, qldgirl, keen4couples and others who've come to our parties before and still showing support thank you. For my extended interstate RHP family I can't wait to see you all again and on the Queensland girls turf!! Woot🎉woot!! I guess if you want to contribute you can if you don't that's fine too. Buy your hostie girls a drink 😉 The main thing is, come out and run amok, let your hair down, meet some new and old friends and have a great time. Life's too short to stay sober....😝 and virginal

Are happy to contribute. You would pay more than that to go see a band anyway. Add that to the chance of meeting some great like minded people, and it really is a bargain. And if we all buy OS a drink as well, she will be In Happy land. She really is the hostess with the mostest.

In my search for an appropriate venue I did come across a rooftop venue in Brissy City that has not one but 2 x 12 seater spa's in their outdoor bar BUT I was already committed to our current venue. Mind you it looks pretty posh!!

Lovinit and Missb are my sanity support system, along with a few others from interstate BUT if you need anything, like a knee-capper, cigarette lighter, sumptuous pecks or a bouncer Lovinit's your lady and if you need soft tresses brushed over any of your bits, directions for where to go or just a big warm ....... hug Missb may step out of her shyness and help you out too. I'll be the rattled blonde staggering around in high heels....still wondering what to wear! I appreciate your efforts and the fact you hired a band, but seriously that is a lot of dosh when you don't even know for sure how many people will turn up. You don't have to go to those lengths you know, I am certain people are just happy to meet and chat. We can always go dancing afterwards.

it'd still be effing worth it. I did this because I'm pretty certain of numbers as the previous M&G's held here have always averaged about 60 and as the former attendees have said it's always a fun night. Chillax I am....but I love that you're all thinking I'm certifiable. It's making me feel all warm and fuzzy.....

Plenty of time to talk and opportunity to dance and talk again in between/during the 45 minute sets. We kick off at 6.30 and the band doesn't start until 8.30/9pm. The Band Manager has already been to the venue and sussed out the requirements for sound. They are a cruisy sexy groovy crew....I didn't book a heavy metal band lol anymore concerns about this then please private message or txt me. I was paying for this out of my own pocket and had I said nothing none if you would have been any wiser. And that's the last I'd like to hear of it please Ladies. Come on lets concentrate on having a good time it's all taken care of anyway. Contribute or not it doesn't worry me, it's done. xx

I've found a few good deals on inner city hotels for those travelling, Very Reasonable and nice hotels 4 star. OR you can try the inner city mystery hotels (4-5 Star guaranteed) via lastminute.com where you get up to 75% off the usual rate. These bookings however are non-refundable and you only find out which hotel you got once you've paid. Now I'm tempted to try this, anyone else? Have stayed in a few before and managed to get the sofitel twice which was really nice and much cheaper than what they had their going rate for. I am most likely going to go for mystery hotel as a surprise is always nice.

I wanna spoil myself for my birthday. Would love to do the Friday and Saturday night in the city but i will have to work the Friday night duty so going to aim for Saturday and Sunday otherwise Saturday night will be fine. Will see how finances go over next few weeks as also have a cruise to pay off.

It's simply about getting people out for a great night without imposing on anyone else's plans. The mini M&G sounds nice, it's good people want to get out and meet you and nice of you to go to the effort. I'm sure you'll have a nice night.
