Cap D'agde 2020

April 26 2020

Any other Aussies have a trip to Cap this Euro Summer.

Would've been my fourth trip to the most amazing village in the world.
Looks like 2021 (hopefully)

A nudist town on the French Mediterranean coast. Not so much a swingers resort, more a naturalist destination. It's a full on town, restaurants, shops, night clubs I think? There's always a bit of tension between swingers and nudists, it'd be interesting to hear what the place is like from people that have been. We're comfortable in either camp🤷‍♂️

I think the great part about the village is that everyone can have the experience that they want.

It certainly started back in the 60's I believe as a naturist retreat.

From talking to people there over the years about 20 years ago it began to morph into a much more hedonistic and swinger destination.

Naturalists still flock to the beaches and officially the beaches are naturist only although at the far end of the beach away from the families is a small portion of about 200-300 metres not so affectionately called the Piggy Beach...although not entirely legal there is always lots of people at that part of the beach engaging in acts of pleasure.

In late July, early August the population is estimated to swell to 40'000 people and everyday there's the famous mousse parties everyday at Le Glamoir, twice weekly parties at Babylone..
At night nearly everyone dresses up...weird in a naturist resort...but the energy becomes more sexual...many people after dinner are headed to a bar, or a private party, or one of the 5-6 swinger (or libertine) clubs within the village.

I love it....the one thing that I would suggest is to try to learn some French...language barriers can make things a little difficult but it's amazing how even that can be overcome :-).

In high season the accommodation is expensive and in high demand so get in early at one of the agencies that control the apartments or villas or camp grounds.

I went to Hedo II in Negril Jamaica once before I went to Cap..
But Cap is a trillion times better.

It really is somewhere to try to experience if you enjoy a swinging attitude.

Happy to help anyone with suggestions about how to go about things and where to look if you contact me.

You must be able to speak French to communicate with anyone there! 😆Funny enough, we don’t speak French, but managed to be understood by the locals. (Google translator haha). It’s not just a nudist resort there, we’ll not on the sex beach anyway. The steam room was amazing! We stayed in the newer apartments in the resort, it was a little run down at the time & not peak season, It’s also not the easiest place to get there. We were more interested in our next leg of our journey, Amsterdam! 😜

I was due to fly out to Hawaii and Canada last Friday and spend a month there visiting family. Then I was to head to Italy to hook up with my partner in Rome then to Cap d'Adge via a bit of time Florence, Rapallo and Nice before training it to Cap d'Adge and from there to Paris for a few days and on to London for and little more R&R then to return home from there. So now it's a 2021 plan.
I was not too concerned about missing out on a family visit I can always do without that but I am still totally peeved the remainder of the trip had to be shelved. I did say "damn poop and bottom" several times, very loudly.
So, if we are both still alive and kicking next year then that's the plan. Away for 3 months of hedonistic excess lol. In the meantime I will just have to satisfy the travel bug with a jaunt to Thailand when we are all once again permitted to travel. The end of Covid restrictions can not come quick enough.

    Heaven for a nudist.
Went there in the early 90's
Stayed in the campgrounds (backpacking). Was known as the nude city 🤩

Weirdky, they were gav8ng protests and petitions to try and stop the introduction of a clothed restaurant!
It was a big deal, introducing clothes to Cap D Agde 🤷‍♂️

Went there in 2013 and had a ball for 10 days. We went as part of the European RHP equivalent organised swingers week. They had about 120 people turn up. Every night was a different event or party, weather around Bastille day was not exactly warm so do take some cloths. The place is naturalist but has morphed into accepting sexual behaviour, bdsm and gays as the economies don’t support just one group. The place was pretty run down in parts particularly the round apartments. Some people stay offsite and have day passes to get into the beach, some parts are family friendly and some for adventurous couples and singles. Generally it was quite expensive as Europe is for us but like all resorts it’s about your attitude and the way you approach social interaction. We came from Paris and Rotterdam we we played at Fun4two etc, by far the best was the Opps club in Barcelona after Cap, my god it was just unreal. Europeans play a little differently than us, they tend to go into a dark room and just start with each other, hands and mouths do the rest, we like to chat here and then go to a room. Happy to advise others on their planning.

I'm on a UK swinging site. Gran Canaria gets quite a few writes in the forum sections. Look the place up if you haven't heard the place. Spanish Canary Islands. It's about a 4 hour flight south from England.

I was booked to go this year should be there right now but Covid put a stop to that ffs ..The place is amazing something for everyone from hard core swingers to the naturist. Once your in you dont have to leave it has everything from butchers to bakers, supermarkets, haridressers retail , restaurants, clubs etc etc lots to explore and do. You can either wear clothes or walk around without a stich on without judgement. The beaches are awesome for Europe standards no rocks proper sand and a long nudist beach and a 500m section dedicated to swinging or what ever goes ..lol Can be a lot of single guys here (Seagulls we called them) but if you dont encourage them they leave you alone and its mainly couples and groups anyway. The actual village has something for any weather or activity , the saunas are great has couples only section and a everyone section , this is great for nights or wet / cold days and can be very popular and eye opening ,,Plenty of clubs and bars to play or just socialise. The foam party place was our favourite which is couples only and runs each day from 1 to 5 and only when the sun is shining as its a outdoors area the actual foam pit is great fun and then the pool and bar area is great and lots of things going on and a great vibe , highly recommended. This place is something that should be on everyones bucket list as a must do, ill be back for sure , hopefully with a new lovely lady to join me.

Definitely will go at some stage have wanted to go ever since I heard about it My gal is almost on page (she’s not a sand sea beach gal) I’m a long time nudist so love the idea of a nudist village. I’ve told her I’m going at some stage hopefully she’ll cum though I’ve told her I’ll go alone if needs be I’ve got friends all over the world and have gained some interest from women to join me Let me know when you go who knows could join up there
