What a year it’s been! We’ve seen so many sexual highlights in 2015, from selfie sticks going where no selfie stick has gone before, to truly historic advances in gay rights; from the weird to the culturally iconic, it’s been huge.

As always, RedHotPie is working hard, increasing sexual awareness and breaking down the barriers and stigmas around sex and sexuality, so let's take a look at our RedHot review, 15 of 2015’s sexiest moments. Enjoy!

15 - VR porn

Always at the forefront of tech advances, the porn industry is again leading the charge, this time into the world of virtual reality. With the advances in 360 degree, immersive shooting techniques and the rise of Occulus Rift and other VR viewers, porn is entering a new age, a new sexy as hell age!

14 – Sex studies

So many sex studies this year! Here are just a few of the choice headlines: couples who hook up casually are statistically as happy as exclusive couples, many women frequently achieve orgasm during anal sex, 42% of millenials would give-up sex before giving up the internet (WTF?) and it turns out the ideal penis length according to women is 6.3 inches.

13 – Red Talks launched

RedHotPie was stoked to launch Red Talks this year; a new medium for discussing and promoting new and exciting ideas around sex and sexuality! Launched with an intriguing talk from Dianne Cameron on polyamory, Red Talks arrived with a bang and will be bigger and better again in 2016.

12 - The Twerking Butt

It had to happen. 2015 saw the arrival of the twerking butt, for those who need a little more twerk in their jerk! The soft, pulsating apparatus draws users in with a ‘come hither’ pulse and a vibrating love tunnel. Yeah it’s a bit crazy, but if there's a market, someone’s gonna fill it.

11 – Passion in Paradise

It’s been the biggest event on the adult party scene in Australia for years, but 2015 saw Passion in Paradise go to another level; four nights, four massive parties at a tropical resort take-over. What can we say? If you want to go away to play, Passion in Paradise is it.

10 – Amber Rose’s slut shaming walk

The walk of shame, it’s a thing, but it shouldn’t be! Gender inequality means millions of women each year have to regret or deny their sexual experiences, and we ain’t down with that! Luckily, neither is curvy firebrand, Amber Rose who this year hosted the Slut Walk, a gathering held to promote the rights of women to express and enjoy their sexuality. Now that is something we are definitely down with.

9 – RHP goes international

Not satisfied with bumping up the sexy stats of millions of Aussies, RedHotPie went international in 2015 making it big in some exciting new places! The Pie even had intrepid international party insider, Bessie Bardot reporting from sizzling cities such as Las Vegas, San Francisco and Amsterdam! Keep watching this space, 2016 is gonna be cray cray! 

8 – World's Largest Penis (Roberto Esquivel Cabrera)

Oh No! Poor, poor Roberto! You would think being in possession of the world's largest penis would be a joyous privilege, but according to Mexico's Roberto Esquivel Cabrera, it's a drag! Coming in at over 18 inches long, Roberto says the massive dong is impractical and a hindrance to a normal sex life.

7 - Magic Mike XXL

Was it good? Who cares! It was sexy! So by definition, yes it was good.  The follow up to 2012’s smash, Magic Mike, MM XXL delivered more of what the ladies seemed to like about the original, Channing Tatum and his buddies, very fit and very skimpy! BOOM.

6 – The Selfie vibrator

In another 2015 “WOW!” moment, selfie stick, camera and vibrator were fused into one awe-inspiring device. The 'Svakom Gaga Camera Vibrator' is a vibrator with a camera on the end, which, get this, can also sync up with FaceTime! So, in theory, you can now broadcast your private moments across the globe. Such awe.

5 - Caitlyn Jenner & Transgender Awareness

The first of our massive media sensations of 2015, Caitlyn Jenner’s journey was almost unprecedented in regards to media uptake. Formerly Bruce Jenner, the reality star and former athlete shocked the world when she came out as a woman. Some threw shade, but along with most of the planet, we threw love!

4 – Myley Cyrus

Another perma-feature in the international media is Myley Cyrus, and 2015 was no exception. In fact, Myley upped the raunch again in 2015 posing for Candy and very little was left to the imagination, which is of course exactly how we like it. You go, girl!

3 – Gay Rights

Following the historic legalisation of gay marriage in the US, RHP pushed forward alongside the gay marriage movement in Australia, sponsoring the “Let there be Light” Mardi Gras float in Sydney this year. The fabulous Madame Lash blessed three ring-exchange ceremonies on board the float at Taylor Square, showing all that love and equality is truly for everyone!

2 – Larry Emdur named Sexy Australian of the Year

Come on down, Larry Emdur, Sexy Australian of the Year for 2015! Always tightly contested, RedHotPie’s Sexy Australian of the Year Award was again a hotbed of sauce and sizzle, celebrating sex appeal, confidence, talent, charisma and out and out shagability! When the dust settled, Larry Emdur, the host with the most was crowned, and how the ladies did swoon.

1 – 50 Shades Of Grey

In 2015, it didn’t get any bigger than 50 Shades of Grey. When the sexually charged juggernaut finally arrived on the big screen in February, RedHotPie teamed up with 50 Shades of Grey to hold movie premieres around Australia. Inviting along some very lucky RedHotPie members, all in attendance experienced a once in a lifetime event. Great eats, lots of drinks and special reserved screenings of 50 Shades with sexy RHP members, it’s clear why this is our number one!
